This test does not measure how much you love, care, sacrifice, depend, desire, give, or invest. High investment is not a problem by itself. Depending on someone is not evidence of self-abandonment. Sacrifice is not the same as self-abandonment.

What it looks at is whether access to yourself stays intact while you are fully in relationship, across six domains, with SELF at the center: attention, identity, decision, resource, body, imagination.
